In 2023, my world changed forever with a diagnosis I could hardly process—breast cancer. The months that followed were filled with countless treatments: a clinical trial as my first line of defense, 20 rounds of chemotherapy, 14 rounds of immunotherapy, surgery, 15 sessions of radiation, and 8 additional rounds of chemotherapy. Each step of the way, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and just trying to hold on. But I was surrounded by incredible love and support that kept me going, even on my hardest days. My husband did so much to keep family and friends informed, easing a load that felt impossible to carry on my own. My sister organized meal service deliveries from across the country, which brought warmth to our home when we couldn’t think about cooking. Dozens of loved ones stepped in with care packages, kind gestures, and whatever they could to help us through. Still, even with all this love, we realized how hard it was to coordinate support in a way that truly matched what we needed. It became clear how important it was to have a place where those who wanted to help could do so easily, without the endless logistical stress that comes with serious illness. That’s why I created Wellnest—a space born from my own journey, built to support others going through similar challenges. Wellnest brings together all the ways friends and family can rally around, offering meals, donations, or simply a comforting message in one place. It gives caregivers a way to focus on their loved ones, without the extra work of organizing everything themselves, and allows friends and family to give the exact support that’s needed. For me, Wellnest isn’t just a platform; it’s a reflection of the love, community, and resilience I experienced firsthand. My hope is that it becomes a lifeline for others, a reminder that even in the hardest times, we don’t have to go it alone. Thank you for being part of our journey.
